Well, we made it passed another fabulous year! And I can't wait to see what happens in 2013. Happy New Year, everybody!

"I Have A Dream" Speech

                         Has there ever been a time where the tragedy and terror just stops?  That never happens.  Tragedy and terror happens every single day.  There have been so many.  For example, 9/11 or the Elementary School shooting that just happened.  This really needs to change.

I have a dream...  That one day people can live in peace and harmony.  With no more violence, no more wars, and no more tragedies.

I have a dream...  That there will be no more pain.  People won't get hurt mentally, physically, or socially.  Everyone can live without thinking nasty thoughts like, " Am I going to die today?"

I have a dream...  That one day people can work out their differences, not with violence, but with communication.  People will be able to say what they want to say without getting hurt.

I have a dream...  That everyone can walk together, side by side, without hurt and hatred.  People have rights and just because other people don't like that person's rights, they should learn to accept their differences.

I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!!!

This country has been filled with examples of discrimination and hurtfulness.  This is something everyone should work on.  We need to work together to bring some happy back into our world.  No one should have to die for no reason.  No one should get hurt for no reason.  And, no one should get violated for no reason.

The Dangers Of Distracted Driving

In The Dangers Of Distracted Driving, a 17 year old girl named Rebecca Rapin makes a Public Service Announcement (PSA) about the dangers of a distracted driver. In this PSA she shows how dangerous it can be to be distracted while you're driving.  With a soda in one hand and a burger in the other hand is one way it can be dangerous when you're driving.  Also, reading a map, putting on makeup, and taking pictures while you're driving is another way it can be dangerous.  But, the one thing that I thought seemed really dangerous while you're driving is texting and talking on cell phones.  It says that traffic crashes are the Number 1 killer of teens in the United States. More than 5,000 people die each year and tens of thousands of injuries happen each year. Rebecca was trying to say that you should not do anything else but drive when you're in a car.  All you should do is drive.

What if everyone lived under water?  Where would people live?  What games would children play?  What would school be like?



If everyone lived under water, everything would not be the same.  They would have to breathe with gills instead of lungs.  I don't think people would like it, because they already like the way their lives are being run.  I, on the other hand, would love living underwater because I absolutely love the feeling of being in the water.  My dad says I'm a polar bear because I don't care what the temperature of the water is.  I think people would have to live in sandcastles because how can you build houses in the ocean?  Children could play with seaweed.  Maybe, they could make it into a tug-of-war game.  School, I think would be like the way it is in Spongebob Squarepants.  Just boating schools.  If everyone lived underwater people, places, and things would not be the same.
